Ergo Trust was established in 2022 by members of Ergo Legal Counsel. Ergo Trust focuses on legal and policy research, aiming to connect policy and practice in areas of constitutional law, commercial and regulatory reforms and law and development.

The Ergo Trust's vision includes:

1. Promoting and advancing research on issues of law, justice, rule of law, human rights, Social justice, economic development, climate change, and governance through publication and dissemination, seminars, symposia, workshops and conferences and similar or related activities.
2. Promoting good governance, economic opportunity, rule of law, and fundamental and human rights through research and policy activities.
3. Offering and organising training, short and long courses etc.
4. Providing Research Consultancy Services.
5. Undertaking public interest litigation and/or writ, and undertake, initiate, file, contest, defend, appear or represent in any case, suit, trial, legal and/or regulatory proceedings before any court, tribunal or other authorities.
