Md. Tayeb-Ul-Islam Showrov is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Having been enrolled as an Advocate in 2014 with the Bangladesh Bar Council, he obtained permission to practice before the High Court Division of the Supreme court in 2019. Showrov has been working at ERGO Legal Counsel since 2011.

Mr. Showrov graduated from the School of Law, Brac University in 2011 and completed his MSS in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Dhaka in 2014. He is the former General Secretary of the Law Alumni Association of BRAC University (LAABRACU) (2022-2024).

He has also authored a scholarly article with Professor Dr. Rizwanul Islam that has been published by the Dhaka University Law Journal in its 28th Volume, 2017. Showrov occasionally writes in the daily newspapers on socio-political and legal issues.
